True North Brotherhood — FAQ
True North Brotherhood (TNB) is a brotherhood for men who are done coasting. We build outdoor adventure experiences — hunting, fishing, precision shooting, and expedition-style events — designed to sharpen men mentally, physically, and spiritually, alongside others who hold the same standard.
TNB is built for men 40 and older. Veterans, fathers, husbands, professionals — men in a season of life where they're looking for more than the status quo, and are ready to put in the work to get there.
Because the brotherhood is the point. The honesty, the challenge, the accountability — it works because it's men processing this stage of life together. That dynamic doesn't translate the same way in mixed company, so membership is limited to men.
This is a stage of life with its own weight — careers, marriages, aging parents, physical decline, the pull toward comfort. TNB exists for men who refuse to let that stage define them. The 40+ focus keeps the brotherhood built around shared experience.
Everything from single-day outings to multi-day expeditions: hunting trips, deep-sea fishing charters, precision and long-range shooting events, and other outdoor challenges built to test you. Every event is designed around real difficulty, not a curated experience.
No. Some events are beginner-friendly, others are built for experienced outdoorsmen. Each event listing will tell you what's expected going in, and you'll always know before you sign up.
Our foundation is God, Family, Country — and we're upfront about that. TNB isn't a church or a ministry, but faith is part of who we are and how we talk about strength. If that foundation doesn't fit you, TNB may not be the right community, and that's okay.
Costs vary by event — some are low-cost gatherings, others are premium expeditions with limited spots. Pricing is listed on each event page, and there's no blanket membership fee to be part of the Brotherhood.
Reach out and ask. The 40+ and men-only guidelines are firm, but we look at every situation individually — send us a message with the details.
Policies are specific to each event, since some involve outfitters, charters, and guides with their own deposit and cancellation terms. You'll see the specific policy before you book, and it's outlined in your event confirmation.
Outdoor adventure carries inherent risk, and we take that seriously. Every event requires a signed waiver, and we work with licensed, insured outfitters and guides wherever applicable. Safety expectations are communicated clearly ahead of every event.
Submit your info through our contact form and you'll hear back directly. From there, we'll point you toward upcoming events and let you know what it looks like to get plugged into the Brotherhood.
